i’ve said this before but you really have got to learn to be your own best friend … you are the only person on earth who’s capable of loving you and understanding you and treating you with the kind of patience you need … you must depend on yourself you must be kind to yourself you must find out what hurts you and protect yourself from it … you are obligated to love yourself because sometimes you are all you have and it is imperative you know how to treat yourself correctly because you will be lonely and you will be hurt and you will be scared & the only person who’s going to hold your hand and get you through it is you … you are your own love of your life stop waiting for somebody to tell you what to do and grab yourself by the back of the neck and show yourself some compassion … I promise you that life will be so much better if you treat yourself with kindness and build yourself up rather than constantly punishing & belittling yourself because you think it will make you a better person … love yourself first & fuck the rest
